Steve Frenz for Felony Perjury continues. On Thursday, he is ordered to appear in court again at 1:30pm for a hearing.

In the meantime, the ongoing fight to purchase 5 buildings in the Corcoran neighborhood to turn them into a housing cooperative has now reached a milestone of a whole year. This means a year of housing instability for the 40 families who live there, a year of tenants having to act as if they have no landlord, and a year of neglect from the city to find any permanent solution for the families.

To this day Frenz refuses to sell the buildings to tenants, now even at the price that he himself asked for! Instead, Steve and Jennifer Frenz have chosen a path of trying to tear apart a beautiful community of indigenous, black, and people of color. Tenants have defended themselves in court over and over even though there is a reasonable, well-supported solution on the table: to purchase their homes and turn them into a housing cooperative.

Families are at risk. Children at risk. Our community is at risk. There is no certainty regarding the final court decision. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! YA BASTA!

Show your support for the families who are saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH at 12:45pm for a press conference on the Plaza outside the Hennepin County Government Center at 300 South 6th st, Minneapolis 55487. (Rain site: inside the Government Center near the Fountain)

The Families of the Cooperative will be showing up to uphold their community and announce an important action that will take place on the morning of July 14th.

Join us on the Plaza immediately outside the Hennepin County Government Center facing City Hall.
